It is more than just coming to the dentist for a cleaning; it’s the groundwork of dentistry. Routine hygiene appointments and dental exams will improve oral health and overall health as well.
Did you know?
How many times a year should I have my teeth cleaned at the dentist?
Our services are tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient. However, in general, if there are no periodontal problems, good tissue health and good oral hygiene, cleanings are recommended every 6 months.
What can I expect on the day of my appointment?
An oral examination, consisting of a visual exam and x-rays will be completed at the time of the appointment. Dr. Quevedo will address any oral health concerns that you may have. He will also discuss treatment recommendations tailored to fit your needs. Cleanings are done by a board certified dental hygienist with special instruments to remove hard plaque known as calculus, tartar, and staining from your teeth.
